If the other solar pumps we’ve reviewed do not offer enough lift for the depth you want to pump from, this device might be the solution. With a vertical lift of about 230 ft., none of the others come close.
The 3.2 gallons per minute flow rate is certainly child’s play compared to some of the other products we’ve seen. But when we pumped water with this product, the rate at which water gushed out of the pipe wasn’t slow. So, even though the flow rate is relatively low, it should be enough for regular use.
Installation was not a problem for us as the instructions were clear. It took some effort, but we knew what we were doing all through.
Many of the sensitive parts of this machine were constructed with stainless steel. So, we had no doubts about the pump’s ability to withstand impact and elemental damage. On the durability front, we give it a 9 out of 10.
